LABASAD Talent: Creative Talent, from LABASAD to the World

What happens to your creative talent when you finish your master’s degree?

At LABASAD, we believe that’s not where the journey ends. On the contrary: that’s when a new chapter begins.

That’s why we created LABASAD Talent, LABASAD’s creative talent platform, bringing together students, alumni and faculty and giving them a space to showcase their projects, portfolios, careers and professional profiles.

A platform where you can discover new creative talent, explore projects, learn about the stories behind our community and connect with our creatives through Behance, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms.

Because a great project shouldn’t stay in the classroom.

It should go further.

What is LABASAD Talent?

LABASAD Talent is LABASAD’s creative talent platform, created to give visibility to the projects, portfolios and careers of the students, alumni and faculty who make up the LABASAD community.

It is a digital space where creatives can showcase their work, share their main professional platforms and become part of a community that connects different disciplines and generations.

On LABASAD Talent you can discover:

– Creative projects developed by students and alumni.

– Professional portfolios.

– Profiles of designers, photographers, illustrators and other creatives.

– Links to Behance, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms.

– Awards and recognitions received by our community.

– Student and alumni testimonials.

– Projects and profiles featured in the media.

– Talent from LABASAD’s different creative disciplines.

LABASAD Talent is a showcase for the talent that grows within LABASAD and a window connecting it to the world.

From student to professional, without leaving the community behind

One of the things that matters most to us at LABASAD is that our relationship with our community doesn’t end when a master’s degree does.

During their studies, our students begin developing projects and building their portfolios. Then come new jobs, collaborations, recognitions and opportunities.

And we want to continue supporting that journey.

That’s why LABASAD Talent is designed for students, alumni and faculty.

For those taking their first steps.

For those who have already been working in the industry for years.

And for those who share their experience and knowledge from the other side of the classroom.

They are all part of the same community, even though each person is building a different path.

Your work deserves to be seen

Some projects remain stored in a folder. Others start making their way into the world.

We want to help make the second thing happen.

LABASAD Talent provides a space where projects developed during the learning process can be discovered by other people, creatives and industry professionals.

Because showing what you do is also part of your professional development.

Your portfolio tells the story of who you are as a creative. Your projects show how you think. And your career reveals where you want to go.

That’s why we believe giving visibility to our community’s work isn’t an extra: it’s part of the way we understand education.

And when talent stands out, we celebrate it too

Giving visibility to projects also means recognising when that work manages to go one step further.

And our community has given us plenty of reasons to celebrate.

This year, our students have received 3 HONOR CUM LAUDE top awards and 26 CUM LAUDE SELECTIONS, recognitions that highlight the quality and creativity of their projects.

Among the top award winners are DOA APP by Nerea Rodríguez; KULTUR BISTRO by Lucia Hofmaier; and Eten by Janire Sanz Fernández.

They join projects such as Inception — Typographic Poster Series, Terra / Territorio y cultura, RE:LOOP, Relatable, Moodsync, Hyphae – inspired by fungi, Flere Gourmet and Finally, an idea, among others.

You can check the official list of winners of the 2026 Cum Laude Awards and discover the recognised projects.

And these aren’t the only recognitions.

At the 2025 LAUS Awards, 12 projects by LABASAD students were nominated, with four students ultimately receiving 2 silver and 2 bronze awards. The nominations also resulted in these projects being selected for the In Book of the LAUS Awards, a leading publication in graphic design and visual communication.

At the 2025 Junceda Awards, three alumni and two LABASAD co-directors were also recognised, alongside two nominations. The awards are organised by the Professional Association of Illustrators of Catalonia (APIC).

These recognitions make us proud, of course. But above all, they remind us of something important: when you give talent space to grow, interesting things can happen.

A community that never stops growing

LABASAD Talent was also created to connect all these stories.

Because a creative community isn’t built simply by collecting projects. It is built by bringing people together, sharing what we do and discovering new ways of creating.

A student can find inspiration in an alumni project.

A professional can discover a profile they didn’t know.

A creative can find someone to collaborate with.

And someone who is still deciding where to take their career can find, within our community, a reference point for imagining their own path.

That’s what matters most to us about Talent: making sure talent doesn’t remain isolated.

Nine disciplines, one community

One of LABASAD’s greatest strengths is precisely the diversity of profiles that come together within it.

Graphic design, communication, interactive design, artificial intelligence, illustration, interior design, photography, management and product are different disciplines, but they all share something: the need to create, experiment and find new ways to solve problems.

You can explore all these areas and LABASAD’s different online master’s degrees and discover how each one can open up different paths within the creative industries.

At LABASAD Talent, we want that diversity to be visible.

Because seeing how someone from another discipline works can also change the way we work.

An interior design perspective can inspire a graphic designer. A product solution can open up a new perspective for a digital creative. An artificial intelligence tool can transform a process that, until yesterday, seemed completely different.

Creativity grows when it is shared.

Your profile can evolve with you

Your first project won’t necessarily be the most important one of your career.

And your professional profile shouldn’t remain frozen at the moment you finished your studies either.

Today, you might be showcasing a master’s project.

Tomorrow, a collaboration.

Then, an award, a publication, a new professional experience or a personal project.

That’s why Talent is designed to evolve with you.

Because your career changes, and your profile can change with it.

From LABASAD to the world

LABASAD Talent is our showcase, but it is also a gateway.

A gateway to discover projects.

To meet people.

To find inspiration.

To follow the journeys of our students and alumni.

And to show the world everything that happens within our community.

Because we believe that educating creative professionals isn’t just about teaching them tools or knowledge. It is also about giving them an environment where they can develop their own perspective, build a career and connect with other people who are following similar paths.

That’s why, for us, LABASAD doesn’t end when a master’s degree does.

Education generates projects.

Projects build portfolios.

Portfolios showcase talent.

And a community can help that talent go further.

Your talent deserves to go further

Maybe you’re just starting to build your portfolio.

Maybe you already have an established professional career.

Maybe you’ve just finished a master’s degree.

Or maybe you’re still looking for the discipline where you want to grow.

Whatever your starting point, there is something we all share: the desire to keep creating.

LABASAD Talent was created to give visibility to that journey and to show that behind every project there is a person, a story and a talent worth discovering.

Because a project can be the end of a class.

But it can also be the beginning of a career.

And we want to be there to watch it grow.
