Marina Paulenka
Independent Curator, Artistic Director, Institutional Leader, and Educator
Marina Paulenka is an independent curator, cultural strategist, educator, and advisor based in Berlin, working internationally across photography, contemporary art, and visual culture. She is the founder of Organ Vida International Photography Festival, former Artistic Director of Unseen Amsterdam, and former Founding Director of Exhibitions at Fotografiska Berlin.
Her curatorial practice explores photography and contemporary image-making through questions of identity, memory, social and cultural change, and intercultural dialogue. She works with artists, museums, and cultural organisations internationally, combining curatorial research, education, mentorship, and the development of exhibitions and cultural programmes.
