Ludovica Proietti

Design historian and freelance journalist

Ludovica Proietti studied Architecture with no intention of ever becoming an architect. After completing a Master’s in Design, she secured an internship with Domitilla Dardi and went on to become her assistant – both in the academic setting and in the curation of various events – specialising in the History of Design and Architecture. A design historian, she curated talks and events focused on design at the Rome-based co-working space Ala/34 until 2019. She currently teaches at several universities and academies in the Italian capital and serves as journalist for ElleDecor.it, DesignWanted and more. As a consultant and freelance journalist, she is deeply committed to contemporary design culture, always seeking out perspectives that go beyond the obvious.
