Introduction to the master

A static logo can carry a brand for years, but almost nothing today launches without motion behind it. The Online Master in Motion Graphics gives you a complete, end-to-end grounding in the craft, guided by working professionals from top studios and agencies.

The programme covers every stage of the motion design process:

Production planning: developing the creative concept and visual treatment behind any project.

Design and art direction: building a distinctive visual language for motion.

2D and 3D animation: character animation, kinetic type, modelling, texturing and lighting.

Sound design and delivery: finishing a project to professional broadcast standard.

You’ll apply everything learned to a final personal project, developed into a showreel for your professional portfolio.

The Master also integrates Artificial Intelligence through dedicated masterclasses and workshops, using the most current AI tools relevant to motion design, guided by expert professionals

Study plan

The Online Master in Motion Design lasts 12 months and is made up of a total of 16 courses grouped into 5 modules. Throughout the Master, 2 masterclasses will be held to delve into cross-cutting content applicable to your profession. With the knowledge acquired throughout the Master, students must be able to carry out the Master’s Final Project, which will be coordinated by Director of the Master, Tom Allen.
