In LABASAD we have opened a New Call for this 2023 of our Online Masters in Graphic Design, Creativity, Illustration and Interior Design where you can learn and acquire knowledge from great professionals in the sector.

LABASAD, Barcelona School of Arts and Design, has a total of 6 Online Masters in English, fully updated, innovative in the sector, divided into 4 categories: Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Interior Design and Illustration.

Since 2017, we have offered online masters in Spanish programs in design, creativity and photography; with students and teachers from all over the globe from countries such as Colombia, Spain, Germany, Mexico, New Zealand, Switzerland, United States, and many others. For this reason, we wanted to reinvent ourselves and expand our school to reach students from all over the world.

ONLINE MASTER IN GRAPHIC AND DIGITAL DESIGN

The Online Master in Graphic and Digital Design, a master’s degree for those seeking employment in the graphic design sector and who would like to learn about brand identity, editorial design, motion graphics, and packaging design. In short, this master’s degree offers the opportunity to become a 360º designer with knowledge in all disciplines of graphic design.

The Online Master In Graphic and Digital Design is structured into 6 different modules, which contain a total of 13 design subjects. In them, you will have the opportunity to: 👇

 

✅ Learn the fundamentals of graphic design

✅ Enter into the world of editorial design, with the aim of learning the key principles of design in the sector

✅ Deal with product packaging design – learn brand strategy, such as its positioning, market, and much more

✅ Enter the world of web design and interactive design

✅ Seeks to delve into animation design

✅ Learn the most important concepts of brand identity

 

The master’s degree is taught by professionals in the graphic and digital design sector. The Online Master in Graphic and Digital Design is co-directed by Stuart Tolley and Oliver SegersStuart is a graphic designer and art director, and founder of the graphic design studio Transmission. Stuart Tolley has worked on projects for major brands such as Schweppes and Moët & Chandon. Oliver Segers, a graphic designer specializing in branding, also directs the master’s course. Oliver has worked for several years in branding and is currently design director at Zypsy.

ONLINE MASTER IN GRAPHIC DESIGN AND APPLIED TYPOGRAPHY

The Online Master in Graphic Design and Applied Typography, a master’s degree aimed at professionals who want to specialize in graphic design and expand their knowledge in typographic design.

The Online Master in Graphic Design and Applied Typography is structured into 5 modules, which contain a total of 14 subjects. In them, you will have the opportunity to: 👇

 

✅ Learn the key concepts of graphic design and become a true typography specialist

✅ Learn all the details of creating a brand identity, such as your logo – you will begin to create your own brand image, giving it a unique identity

✅ Introduce you to the world of typography in motion – introduction to After Effects

✅ Enter into the editorial design, a key sector in typographic design

✅ Introduce you to the world of typography for web design

All the instructors who teach the Online Master in Graphic Design and Applied Typography are professionals currently working in their sector, including its co-directors Mark Bloom and Marina Soto. 👇

 

Mark is a brand designer and typographer with over 22 years of experience in the industry. He specializes in brand identity and typography and has worked with a number of top design studios including well-known clients such as NASA, Coca-Cola and Nike. Marina is also a graphic designer working on identity, communication campaigns and art direction. She is currently the main designer at Artofmany studio. She has developed projects for many clients and some of them have been recognized in several editions of the Laus Awards and published in different media related to design.

ONLINE MASTER IN UI/UX DESIGN

The Online Master in UI/UX Design is a specialized program for those who would like to evolve and become more professional in interactive design, in order to improve skills in digital interaction interface, web and application design. Is thought by professionals who are currently working in the sector.

The Online Master in UI/UX Design is structured into 4 study modules, which contain a total of 12 subjects in which you will have the opportunity to learn the most important concepts of interactive design.

The first module is an introduction to UX/UI design; in the second module you will learn how to understand the user experience when navigating the interface; the third module is designed to teach students how to create their own interface. Finally, in the last module you will learn how to put all the acquired knowledge to the test and design a unique interface for the user.

➕ In addition to all this, throughout the course you will have access to exclusive LABASAD masterclasses and workshops, to further expand your knowledge in digital environments.

The director of this Master is Christian Lowell, a designer and art director with extensive experience in various disciplines of audiovisual communication. Christian is currently art director at B-Reel studio. You can find his mark on brands as important as Apple, Nike, Audi and he has even worked with House 99, David Beckham’s cosmetics brand.

ONLINE MASTER’S DEGREE IN MOTION GRAPHICS

The Online Master’s Degree in Motion Graphics, a program that has been carefully engineered to give a comprehensive overview covering every aspect of the craft. It’s aimed for students who already have a strong grounding in Adobe After Effects and Maxon Cinema 4D,  the key applications we’ll be focussing on.

The Online Master’s Degree in Motion Graphics is structured into 6 study modules, which contain a total of 12 subjects. Where, in each of the modules, it will give you the necessary tools to develop in your career, working as part of this amazing industry. In them, you will have the opportunity to: 👇

 

✅ Focus is on the development of the production process for any project

✅ Focus on the basics of motion graphics design

✅ Create 2D animations on images or characters and how to create visual effects

✅ Learn how to animate 3D projects, designing and animating 3D characters

✅ Focus on the field of sound and audio – how to design the right audio and mixing to produce the best audiovisual content

✅ In the last module it’s about the final master’s degree project, where all the knowledge learned will be demonstrated and applied

 

➕ In addition to all this, throughout the course you will have access to exclusive LABASAD masterclasses and workshopsto further expand your knowledge in digital environments like I.A. and learn how to do kinetic typography.

The Online Master’s Degree in Motion Graphic is directed by Tom Allen, an English creative director & founder of Buff, an animation and motion design studio that works with brands, agencies and organizations in order to have a greater impact through content animation. In their studio, Buff, they have had the opportunity to work with various clients such as Uber or Google, they made a dynamic video that perfectly combines the kinetic type and animation of the brand elements.

ONLINE MASTER’S DEGREE IN INTERIOR DESIGN AND HOSPITALITY

The Online Master’s Degree in Interior Design and Hospitality it’s a program that has been carefully aimed for those who want to enter and seek experience in the world of interior design or established professionals from other sectors who want to acquire new knowledge of interior design.

With this Master you will be able to develop any interior design project, learning to represent spaces, mastering the theory of materials, design of pieces and other interior elements.

 

The Online Master’s Degree in Interior Design and Hospitality is structured into 4 study modules, which contain a total of 12 subjects where in each of the modules you will learn how to create and manage an interior design project in a comprehensive way.

The first module is an is an introduction to the history, artistic movements and methodology of design; in the second module you will learn the differences and important elements between some spaces such as domestic, work and gastronomy space; the third module introduce the use of professional software tools to design projects and work processes, how to manage a professional project in all its stages with the client.

 

Finally, in the last module it’s about the final master’s degree project, where all the knowledge learned will be demonstrated and applied.

Chiara Luzzato is the director of the Online Master’s Degree in Interior Design and Hospitality. She is an Italian architect, stylist, and Art Director who loves conceptualizing and constructing modern spaces and environments.  Chiara is the co-founder and Art Director at notooSTUDIO she leverages her expertise to generate virtual sets, and together with her associates, they create interior images for global furniture design brands.

ONLINE MASTER’S DEGREE IN EDITORIAL AND ADVERTISING ILLUSTRATION

The Online Master’s Degree in Editorial and Advertising Illustration it’s a program that has been carefully aimed for students with experience in the world of design, graphics or fine arts who are looking for abroad in the illustration world, and it is also for professionals in the sector without specific qualifications who can accredit professional experience.

 

The Online Master’s Degree in Editorial and Advertising Illustration is structured into 5 study modules, which contain a total of 14 subjects in which students will delve into the intricacies of different illustration assignments found in both editorial and advertising domains. In them, you will have the opportunity to: 👇

 

✅ Understand the importance of visual storytelling and own-language

✅ Focus on the importance of illustration in the press and publishing sectors –  how to start developing characters from the beginning

✅ Think about the parts of a creative process through the brand strategy

✅ Learn about the importance of self-promotion in the illustration business through a good personal portfolio

✅ In the last module it’s about the final master’s degree project, where all the knowledge learned will be demonstrated and applied

The Online Master’s Degree in Editorial and Advertising Illustration is directed by Bárbara Malagoli, a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist focused on Illustration and Visual Arts based in London-UK. 👇 She has been working as an independent professional with studios and clients such as Nike, Google, The Washington Post and Samsung in a wide range of projects, as an Illustrator, graphic designer, and creative director. Her work is all about compositions, shapes, vibrant textures, and bold colors.

All LABASAD students have the figure of the academic coordinator, who are those people who help and accompany students during their Online Master, both to explain how the campus works and if any student has any questions or problems.
