Mike Goia

Mike Gioia is a writer and AI Pipelines Architect who integrates generative AI into filmmaking. After years in TV and film, he began using diffusion models for VFX in 2022. He co-founded AI on the Lot, the largest AI film conference, and an AI workflows startup Pickaxe which he exited in 2025.
